about us

Highmore Homes Group, founded in 2001, is a fast growing residential development company which specialises in both the provision of 100% Joint Venture funding for residential development and also direct residential development.

Highmore Homes Group currently has a contracted development programme of over 1,400 homes spread over 41 sites. Highmore Homes has offices in Edinburgh, Winchester, Birmingham, Chelmsford and Glasgow ensuring nationwide coverage.

The rapid growth of Highmore Homes Group is largely attributable to building successful joint venture partnerships with other residential developers. However in January 2006 the company acquired the Scottish house builder, Hamilton Holdings, to increase the growth of the direct development business. In addition to increasing the number of developments and size of the land bank, this now also provides the Group with its own construction arm. This has resulted in the previously forecasted turnover of £67 million for 2005/6 increasing to approximately £100 million for 2006/7.

Highmore Homes Group's core business remains in the value driven segment of the market providing well designed houses at a reasonable price. However the company continues to take a proactive and flexible approach to new opportunities and is currently involved in a wide range of projects from 1 & 2 bedroom apartments in Bristol to a development of 5 luxury houses near Cannes.

Highmore Homes Group was acquired in September 2007 by Highcross, a Property Fund Manager specialising in commercial property investment opportunities in the UK. The acquisition of Highmore Homes provides the group with an excellent platform for growth in both the UK commercial and residential sectors. Highmore Homes Group is keen to work with residential developers and land owners, allowing them to realise the value of their potential development sites.
